Nine tenths is below the surface.

The operating system for a football squad's physical work. The match is what everyone sees. Underneath it: every check-in, every metre, every test, every player's own plan.

Below the waterline the work is daily, individual and easy to lose track of. This is where it lives.

One minute, every morning.

Each player answers four questions on her phone: sleep, energy, soreness and how ready she feels. Mark a sore area and her pre-activation is rebuilt around it before she steps on the pitch. Anything worrying lands with the coach, not in a spreadsheet nobody opens.

Try it. This is the real rule the app uses.

Load, read from the training week.

Drop in the GPS export after each session. The app reads the week by its day codes, so it works with any club's naming. The match counts in the load trend but not as training. Every player's sprint exposure is checked against her own match, and if the week runs short a top-up is suggested 48 hours out.

    Any club's session codes
Full session, MD+2, MD−3: the week is read the way your staff already write it.
Her own match as the floor
Sprint and high-speed targets come from what she does on Saturdays, not a squad average.
    A load budget
A quiet running week opens room for one extra set in the gym, offered to the coach, never forced.
The squad week: every player's day, pitch and gym, by match-day code

    Ready for the next match.

Not for yesterday's. Readiness is built from the training week: recovering, building, ready, day by day. Wellness is compared like for like, so a sore Monday after a match is not read as a crisis. Anyone who needs a conversation lands in the coach's inbox, and a check-in typed by mistake can be corrected.

Match day: the starting eleven on the pitch, with each player's readiness

    Tests judged against the level.

Jumps, strength, sprints and top speed are placed against published references for the population: women or men, senior or youth. Not against the squad, so a weak squad still gets checked. Only a verified reference can suggest a focus, results inside a test's own noise stay a watch, and the season phase decides the dose: build in the off-season, maintain and microdose in-season.

A player's physical profile: each test against the reference percentiles, with her trend

    One plan per player.

Inside the team's week, minutes decide each player's tier and dose. Strength lands 72 hours after a match and 48 before the next. A library of about 1,500 labelled exercises handles swaps and restrictions. Players can ask for a change; the coach makes it. Every method went through the literature before it went in.

The player's day on her phone: pre-activation for sore hamstrings, the pitch session and her gym session

The whole season, end to end.

The fixture list sets the year: blocks of three or four weeks, deloads, congested weeks, a mid-season break and the testing windows. The off-season runs its own phases, from disconnect to rebuild, and pre-season brings each player back by her minutes.

The year plan: phases, matches, gym load, blocks and testing markers

The system suggests. The coach decides.
